Large-scale Russian Strikes Cut Power Throughout Kyiv

During the night, Russian aerial assaults have resulted in power cuts in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were wounded while residents in eastern districts were left without electricity and encountered disruption to water supplies, per reports from city officials.

At the same time, a minor was lost their life in a separate Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southeastern part, according to local officials.

Moscow has intensified assaults on power infrastructure over recent weeks, while officials has called for "real steps" from allies to apply pressure on Russia.

"What's needed is not superficial actions but decisive action - from the United States, Europe and the Group of Seven - in delivering air defence systems and enforcing sanctions," mentioned in a public message.

Officials stated that 450 drones and more than 30 projectiles struck energy facilities, describing such assaults as "premeditated" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.

The energy minister said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and technical staff were working to repair systems.

A barrage of missiles hit electrical systems and apartment buildings in the capital.

Several of the people injured in the assaults on the capital have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by municipal representatives.

Regional authorities said the urban area came under intense attacks during nighttime hours. A young boy was killed and three other people were injured.

The strikes succeed nights of aerial attacks in the territory, portions of which remain under the control of Moscow's military.

The whole nation is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are harder to spot.

Authorities told reporters that Moscow was purposely seeking to demolish the electrical infrastructure, with attacks already impacting gas facilities.

He said utility staff and authorities were anticipating more assaults.
