Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca stated on the final weekday that Cole Palmer is available for selection for the team's vital top-flight encounter against London rivals Arsenal.

The 23-year-old English international was out of action due to a fractured toe incurred after an unfortunate incident.

“He is available to start and to play,” Maresca said. “Everyone is happy.”

In the current campaign, Palmer has featured in just four games in every contest, netting two goals.

After joining from City in 2023, he has recorded 45 strikes and 29 setups in 101 matches for Chelsea.

When asked about additional consequences from the incident, Moyes remarked: “The matter was resolved instantly, it was done, that was it, we progressed rapidly and it was all sorted within the team environment.”

Newcastle United's recent signing Yoane Wissa has trained with his squad for the first time since sustaining a knee injury shortly after his move from Brentford in September.
