In a surprising collaboration that breaks traditional forecasts, the game developer has announced an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Uncovered

According to the formal statement, "A mysterious meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of prohibited rituals and terrifying transformations resonate through the obscurity." The plot features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden sect.

The mission focuses on "bizarre trials and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the quest will acquire an unique katana in addition to multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
